How can I rent a car from Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo Airport between 8:30 a.m. and 7:59 p.m. (business hours)?
One of our representatives (T-shirt: Williams Car Rental) will pick you up at parking lot P0, right in front of the arrivals terminal. When you leave the terminal, just cross the street and you will find car park ‘P0’. Please wait by the ‘MADEIRA ISLAND’ logo. When you arrive at the meeting point, please call us or send us a message (WhatsApp available). We will pick you and Shuttle from park ‘P0’ to car park ‘P6’, where the car rental will be processed.
You will have to pay the “out-of-hours surcharge.” This charge covers the time required for a representative to remain and complete the vehicle delivery. If the company is not aware of your delay (flight number required), they may not wait for you. It is also possible that, during nighttime hours, suppliers may close early if they consider that you have not shown up and there are no reservations or returns after your reservation.
Arriving Late? ‘OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE’ 11:00 p.m. – 8:29 a.m. (+€50)
You will have to pay the “out-of-hours surcharge.” This charge covers the time required for a representative to remain and complete the vehicle delivery. Yes, this system allows you to rent the car outside or within business hours (24 hours), at no extra cost. The box contains the key. We will send you by Whatsapp / email, the code to open the Box, the scanned rental agreement, picture of the car and instructions to Park ‘P6’. We will leave ‘PARKING CARD’ inside the car, and you will be able to exit the parking ‘P6’. The cars are rented with full insurance, without a deposit. We do not rent cars without full insurance (using KeyBox System).

– At Parking ‘P6’ from 6:31 p.m. to 7:59 p.m. (Keybox – No extra charge).
You will enter the parking using our ‘PARKING CARD’ and you will park the car. You will use the KEYBOX system (compartment) to save the key and the ‘PARKING CARD’ will stay inside the car. We will send you the code to open the box via WhatsApp or email.
If there is a change at drop off time (last minute), you must request an update of the drop off time (Contract) and an update of the ‘PARKING CARD’ (8:00 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. / +€25).
The company is not responsible for any fines due driving outside hours stipulated in the contract, and any accidents that occur outside the contractual period. The cars are rented with full insurance, without a deposit. We do not rent cars without full insurance (using KeyBox System).

You must provide us with your telephone number and flight number. This can be very useful for monitoring your flight before departure. Otherwise, reservations will not be valid or confirmed. Even if you are already on Madeira and you request the vehicle at the airport (days later), you must enter your flight number and telephone number so that we can contact you or track your flight online. This allows us to anticipate any problems that may arise when you pick up the car (flight problems, delays, diverted).
Given that there are sometimes weather problems at Madeira airport, we can deliver the car to Funchal/Marina. If your flight is diverted to another island (Porto Santo) and you will be arriving via the Porto Santo/Funchal ferry, please let us know by email/phone/text message. If there is a new flight rescheduling, you should preferably let us know via WhatsApp so we can stay in touch.

In Funchal Area, we can pick you at your Hotel/Accommodation, and we shuttle to our Office (free of charge 09:00 – 18:00).
Outside Funchal area, we charge 15€ for each 10klm distance (from hotel/accommodation to Office / Airport).
If yre late to pick the car at the Office or hotel (Payment at pick up 100%), you have to inform us. Otherwise we will cancel the reservation (NO SHOW). If the company is not aware of your delay, we will rent the car to other client (last minute booking).
You also need to reschedule our reservation time with the company, according to the plan for that day. Sometimes, the employee needs to close the office to provide services at hotels or accommodations.

You have to return at our office (08:30AM – 06:30PM) and then we can leave you at your accommodation/hotel (shuttle FROM 09:00AM – 06:00PM free of charge)
– Hotels / Accomomdations / Airport / OUT OF AREA (09:00AM – 06:00PM)

You have to return at our office and leave the key at our BOX.
